FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts for xylene isomerisation processes and feedstock containing C-8 aromatic hydrocarbons and can be used in such industries as petrochemistry and oil refining. Micro-mesoporous xylene isomerisation catalyst consists of a carrier containing: zeolite of ZSM-5 type, ordered mesoporous silicon oxide of MCM-41 type, gamma-aluminum oxide and platinum group metal deposited on a carrier. Active carrier phase consisting of zeolite type ZSM-5 and ordered mesoporous silicon oxide of MCM-41 type is a hierarchical aluminosilicate material having a micro-mesopore system formed by meso-pores of ordered silicon oxide of MCM-41 type and micropores of ZSM-5 type zeolite.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of xylene isomerisation catalyst efficiency, namely, in catalyst activity growth, leading to increase of raw material conversion and target paraxylene yield.
