FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing electrical contact connections of high-temperature superconductors of second-generation conductors with other electrical contact elements, including superconductors, and can be used to produce electrical devices providing such connections, for example, for manufacturing current-limiting devices, engines based on superconductors, transmissions, etc. Method of making an electrical contact connection of high-pressure superconductors of a second generation conductor with a contact element comprises series connection of HTSC conductor to a copper bus and connection of a copper bus to a contact element, in which prior to connection of high-temperature superconductor of conductor to bus on said HTSC conductor at point of contact there is deposited by electrochemical deposition a copper layer, and connection of HTSC conductor to copper bus at point of contact is carried out by means of their mechanical connection through layer of foil from indium.
EFFECT: disclosed method enables to obtain compact electric contact connection with reduced dimensions and increased length of HTSC conductor.
