FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to a method of making an electric contact connection of high-temperature superconductors (HTSC) with terminals, and can be used for production of superconducting current conductors, superconducting power equipment, and so forth. Method of making electric contact connection HTSC conductor of second generation with terminal provides formation on terminal of at least one contact step, formation of at least one web of HTSC tapes, containing, at least two HTSC belts arranged in parallel, which are adjacent to each other on lateral sides, subsequent laying of end part of web to contact step of terminal and thermal connection of end part of said web flush with step of terminal to form monolithic contact connection.
EFFECT: invention will make it possible to produce reliable, non-agglomerate contact connections of HTSC tapes with terminals with high current-carrying capacity, with simple manufacturing technology, with smaller losses and with improved technical and economic indices for production of superconducting current conductors and superconducting power equipment.
