FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment and can be used for testing objects for complex action of mechanical loads. Method comprises placing a research object (RO) in a container, the tail part of which is located in the barrel of the accelerating device, loading the RO with a mechanical pulse with peak acceleration of not less than 100,000 m/s2 in acceleration of container under high pressure in accelerating device barrel, measurement of RO characteristics, movement of container with RO in process and after acceleration, at least along one guide, RO braking. During movement of container, spinning RO along one of its axes is performed under action of incident air flow, at that, at least, on one section of free run of container with RO its forced braking is performed with maximum acceleration, controlled in range from 200 m/s2 up to 3,000 m/s2, during which RO characteristics are also measured.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reproducing complex of mechanical actions on RO, including linear and angular accelerations, as well as centrifugal loads of specified level, in the process of which RO is tested, after loading it with a mechanical pulse, which is realized during acceleration under pressure.
