FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to self-cranking internal combustion engines and can be used for creation of volumetric compressors and pumps. Crank-type engine with volume-planetary-type converting mechanism comprises housing 1, cylinder 2 with piston 3 in it, connected with rod 4, rigidly connected with cross-beam 5, ends of which are located in peripheral bushes 6 of gear wheels 7, installed on bearings in circular shell 8 and resting diametrically opposite on flat gear ring 9, fixed in engine housing in plane perpendicular to cylinder axis, and circular gear rim 10 of output shaft 11.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of design effectiveness, minimization of mechanical losses, increase in specific weight and size and power parameters of the engine.
