FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises piston 1 fitted in liner 2 of cylinder 3 secured on housing 4 with internal cylindrical insert 5, and stepped output shaft 6 engaged with piston 1 via motion converter. Axially symmetric piston 1 has its outer surface made up of a set of liner generating lines. Piston 1 is coupled with motion converter by rod 7 with its top head fitted in bearing 8 mounted on piston bottom inner surface. Opposite end of rod 7 is rigidly engaged with motion converter carriage 9 fitted on shaft 10 running in rolling bearings 10 supported by motion converter races. One of surfaces of said race is made on bottom face surface of housing cylindrical insert top section 12 while opposite surface is located top face surface bottom part 13. Step of output shaft 6 coupled with piston via motion converter carriage is shaped to yoke.
EFFECT: higher reliability, reduced overall dimensions.
