SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for testing the entire protective circuit in an insulated gas medium voltage electric protective device comprising a circuit breaker, method consists in installation in previous and next position relative to breaker (1) of previous insulating switch (2) and subsequent insulating switch (3), respectively, said insulating switches (2, 3) are installed in series with circuit breaker (1), then at the first stage, after opening of these three devices, in connection of supply means of current source, to so-called first point (p) of electric connection of electric circuit, so-called previous disconnector (2), then at second stage, after circuit breaker closing, in current supply to this first connection point, then at third stage, in measurement of current flowing between said first connection point (p) and second connection point (q) located in electric circuit of second, so-called subsequent insulating switch, and, finally, in ensuring that the breaker actually opens at the required value.
EFFECT: technical result is longer service life.
