FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a set of electrical protection devices with two levels, which are connected in series, and is intended for use in low-voltage devices of high power. Set is characterized by the fact that the upstream circuit breaker (1) automatic shutdown mechanism includes, first, a first tripping circuit making it possible to adjust a tripping curve with a long delay for an inverse time delay characteristic and a tripping curve with a short non-tripping time delay, and secondly, the second shutdown circuit includes optical sensor (9) which is adapted to distinguish light between 300 nm and 450 nm by eliminating visible and infrared light in order to eliminate light which is characteristic of gas jets emitted one or more circuit breakers, called downstream circuit breakers (8), during switching operation, and means for simultaneous measurement of current level and maximum threshold value of light emitted in electric buses, this second tripping circuit is adapted to control tripping of the upper circuit breaker (1) when the current exceeds a predetermined value, and the emitted light exceeds a predetermined threshold value for the emitted light.
EFFECT: faster operation of protection.
