SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the autostereoscopic (without glasses) displays and can be used for development of the two- and multi-angle stationary and mobile 3D TV sets, 3D monitors with full-screen 3D resolution while maintaining compatibility with the 2D images. Improvement of the observed stereo image quality is achieved by the angle views separation quality improvement by changing the amplitude parallax barrier liquid crystal layers addressing geometry – performing of only one liquid crystal layer as separation one, equipped with address transparent electrodes, and increase in the separation contrast by the liquid crystal layers chromatic dispersion value effect on the contrast minimization and the liquid crystal molecules initial orientation imperfection by using of the mutually orthogonal input and output linear polarizers and by using of the separation and compensation liquid crystal layers appropriate switching algorithm.
EFFECT: invention can be used for development of two- and multi-angle stationary and mobile 3D TV sets, 3D monitors with the full-screen 3D resolution while maintaining compatibility with the 2D images.
