FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanized performance of underground openings with round cross-section shape, in particular, to method of construction of underground development with shielding tunnelling unit. Proposed method consists in that shaping of the working, screwing in the head section of the unit and tightening the tail section simultaneously. When forming the working, the helical channel is cut with the cutting tool of the unit, providing a guaranteed gap between the external propulsor and the side walls of the screw channel. When cutting the longitudinal channel, a guaranteed gap is provided between the anti-rotation elements and the side walls of the longitudinal channel. Formation of curvilinear section is started with bending of head section in appropriate direction, then working is formed in specified direction; as tail section is pulled in curvilinear section, it is bent along working section, after outlet of unit from curvilinear section head and tail sections are moved to initial position. Passage assembly comprises head and tail cylindrical sections made of several turns of sheet profile. Adjacent coils of sheet profile are interfaced by means of bead and slot and provide possibility of mutual angular and axial movement. In the head section the groove is made along the normal to the longitudinal axis of the section, it is outward oriented and represents a screw blade acting as an external propulsor. In the tail section, the groove is made normal along the section. Adjacent coils of the sheet profile are connected by jacks for controlling the direction of movement of the unit. Head and tail sections are connected by means of intermediate cylindrical section, on inner surface of which there fixed is fixed gear wheel; in engagement with it there is drive sprocket, axis and drive of which are located in inner space of tail section. Cutting device of the unit is fixed on the frame structure of the head section and is made in the form of large and small chain bars with cutters installed perpendicularly relative to the longitudinal axis of the unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of construction of underground workings due to bending of head and tail parts of unit and provision of possibility of curvilinear sections performance.
