FIELD: peat industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to peat industry, in particular, to methods for extraction of peat material and its processing for products used in industry and agriculture. Method of hydromechanical fractionation of peat material includes hydraulic processing of peat. After crushing and separation of initial peat material and hydraulic processing of peat, hydromechanical two-fraction centrifugation of obtained peat pulp onto fibrous mass and suspension is performed, then mechanical dehydration of the pulp to moisture content w=68–75 % is performed, and the suspension is deposited to obtain a humus concentrate with moisture content w=80–85 %. At that, hydraulic processing is performed by means of hydraulic washing of produced peat material. Fibrous mass consists of particles with weighted average diameter 1.0<d≤50 mm, and the humus concentrate consists of particles with weighted average diameter d≤1.0 mm.
EFFECT: wider range of products made from peat.
