SINGLE-USE DISPOSABLE SET CONNECTOR Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61M5/142 A61M5/145 A61M5/148

Abstract RU 2703066 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a medical connector, a replaceable disposable connector (SUDS) connector and a liquid supply method using a disposable replaceable connector (SUDS) connector. Medical connector comprises an inlet socket for liquid, made with possibility of detachable engagement with a connecting socket of a replaceable set of reusable use (MUDS) for installation of liquid connection with it. Connector has an outlet socket for drainage, made with possibility of detachable engagement with the inlet socket for drainage of the liquid introduction system for installation of liquid connection with it. Connector has a liquid supply line to the patient, connected at the first end to the inlet socket for liquid and connected at the second end to the outlet drain socket. Fluid flow along the patient's fluid supply line is unidirectional from the first end to the second end. Second end of the liquid supply line to the patient has a liquid supply line connector, so that the liquid supply line to the patient is made with possibility of disconnection from the outlet drain socket for liquid supply from the liquid inlet to the patient by disconnection of the liquid supply connector from the drain outlet, while drain outlet remains in engagement with inlet drain outlet. Connector of replaceable set of disposable SUDS comprises inlet socket for liquid, made with possibility of detachable engagement with connecting socket MUDS for installation of liquid connection with it. (SUDS) includes an outlet socket for drainage, made with possibility of detachable engagement with inlet socket for drainage of liquid supply system for installation of liquid connection with it. SUDS has a separator separating the inlet socket for fluid from the drain outlet. SUDS comprises fixing mechanism made for attachment with possibility of removal of SUDS connector to set of MUDS. Fixing mechanism has elastic ledge, which is made with possibility of deviation from position of engagement into free position and back by deflection of part of elastic projection. SUDS has a liquid supply line to the patient, connected at the first end to the inlet socket for liquid. SUDS includes a liquid supply line connector connected to the second end of the liquid supply line to the patient. Fluid flow along the patient's fluid supply line is unidirectional from the first end to the second end. Liquid supply line connector is made with possibility of detachable liquid connection with outlet drain socket for supply of liquid from inlet socket for liquid to patient for disconnection of liquid supply line to patient from outlet socket for drainage, while output outlet for drain remains in engagement with inlet drain socket. Method of liquid supply with application of SUDS includes liquid connection of input socket for liquid of SUDS connector with connecting socket MUDS. Proposed method comprises installation of fluid communication between SUDS connector drain socket and fluid inlet drain outlet. Method involves pumping the SUDS connector by feeding liquid from the fluid inlet into the outlet socket for draining along the liquid supply line to the patient. Method comprises disconnection of the patient's fluid supply line from the drain outlet, while the drain outlet remains in engagement with the inlet drain socket. Method envisages supply of fluid from the inlet socket for liquid to the patient along the liquid supply line to the patient.

EFFECT: technical result is maintaining sterility of fluid channel and providing automatic pumping.
