FIELD: printing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for protection against counterfeiting by means of printing ink. On the edges of the printing ink on code (4) and/or product logo (5), tiny denticles (6) are randomly created and these denticles (6) are photographed close-up with maximum approximation of the lens. Information on characteristic features of denticles (6) on edges of printing ink, obtained by photographing, is stored in a database of a recognition system connected to the network and designed to counter counterfeit. Information on characteristic features of denticles, which is obtained by means of the camera of the user's phone, is compared with information on characteristic features of denticles in the database for the purpose of authentication.
EFFECT: technical result is increase of anti-counterfeiting efficiency.
