FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inorganic chemistry, industrial ecology and to electroplating, in particular to a method of producing potassium bis(dihydrodiphosphate)cuprate (II) dihydrate of formula K2Cu(H2P2O7)2⋅2H2O, and can be used for recycling of galvanic production wastes – spent electrolytes of diphosphate copper plating and for preparation of electrolytes of diphosphate copper plating of steel, cast iron, aluminum and its alloys, zinc alloys, titanium, as well as dielectrics. Method is realized by preparing a reaction aqueous solution containing copper (II) and potassium diphosphate. Reaction aqueous solution is then held for a time sufficient to form a residue of the end product. Further, the residue of the end product is separated from the solution. At that for production of reaction water solution there used is liquid waste of production of coatings – spent solution of diphosphate copper plating containing copper (II) and potassium diphosphate as main components, and in the reaction aqueous solution pH is set from 1.0 to 5.5.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining pure single-phase target product of rhombic modification with low cost and disposal of toxic production wastes.
