SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sewage structures. Surface runoff inlet comprises a working chamber with a wall and a bead, a bottom, an outlet of a pipe from the well, a cast-iron grid. Inlet is additionally equipped with a hydrodynamic device in the form of flow vortex generators consisting of barrier-shields installed at an acute angle and across to the incident flow and arranged along the perimeter of the working chamber grate of the inlet.

EFFECT: higher operational properties of inlet, reliability of operation and efficiency.
