FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modified resin systems suitable for use in infusion of liquid resin, and specifically relates to a method of making a molded article based on an infusion of liquid resin, to the curable composition to produce a molded article and a cured molded article. Curable composition for infusion of liquid resin (LRI) includes: a) not more than 5.0 wt. % of thermoplastic polymer; b) not more than 5.0 wt. % of nanoparticles consisting of core and shell; c) not more than 5.0 wt. % of inorganic nanoparticles; d) epoxy resin component; and e) one or more amine curing reagents. Initial viscosity of said curable composition is not more than 5 poise at temperature within temperature range from about 80 °C to approximately 130 °C.

EFFECT: invention provides high strength of CSAI and exhibits excellent strength of H/W OHC with improved manufacturability.
