FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing solid solutions with a spinel structure based on ferrites and chromites of transition elements and can be used in chemical industry in organic synthesis processes for the production of butadiene and hydrocarbons from synthesis gas. Method of producing spinel based on nickel (II) – copper (II) ferrite-chromite involves mixing initial oxides of nickel (II), copper (II), iron (III), chromium (III). Oxides are obtained from solutions of nickel (II), copper (II), iron (III), chrome (III) sulphates with concentration of 1 mol/l, evaporating on a sand bath for 0.5 hours, drying at temperature 100 °C to constant weight for 0.5 hour and step-by-step heat treatment at temperatures of 600–700–800–900 °C is cured at each said temperature for 1 hour.
EFFECT: obtaining spinels on the basis of ferrites-chromites of transition elements having a controlled shape, at lower heat treatment temperatures, with shorter duration, which allows to significantly reduce power consumption and thereby reduce the cost of production, as well as obtain spinels with improved operational characteristics.
