FIELD: composite materials production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing composite materials based on transition element ferrites with a spinel structure and can be used in the chemical industry in organic synthesis processes, for example, in the production of butadiene and conversion of carbon monoxide (II), to purify aqueous solutions from pollutants. A method is proposed for obtaining a composite magnetic fine-crystalline material by mixing the starting materials obtained from solutions of nitrates with a concentration of 1 mol/l, introducing ammonia into the resulting mixture with stirring in the form of a solution with a concentration of 14 mol/l and citric acid in the form of a solution with a concentration of 6.25 mol/l, evaporation of the mixture for 10-30 minutes, followed by calcination for 10-20 minutes at a temperature of 500-700ºC until gas formation stops, characterized in that iron (III) nitrate and cobalt nitrate ( II) in a ratio of 2: 1, and the mixing of the starting materials is carried out in the presence of activated carbon, while the amount of components is mol %: activated carbon - 65 - 82; iron (III) nitrate - 2 - 4; cobalt (II) nitrate - 1 - 2; ammonia - 8 - 16; citric acid - 6 - 13.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain a material with a developed surface, to carry out the process of forming the spinel structure without additional heat treatment and with a shorter duration.
