SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition of general tonic action. Disclosed is the use of a pharmaceutical composition which is an aqueous solution for oral administration containing N-acetylamino succinic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, an acidity regulator in amount of 0.01–10.0 wt.%, providing pH of 6.0–7.5, and a preservative in amount of 0.01 wt.% to 5.0 wt.%, for the treatment of asthenic syndrome, wherein said composition does not contain reducing sugars and fructose.
EFFECT: invention provides higher short-term and long-term stability of acetylamino-succinic acid preparations, wider range of drugs for treating asthenic syndrome, reduced number of side effects.
