METHOD OF DORSAL SPINAL-FUSION CARE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/70

Abstract RU 2703385 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neuroorthopedics, and can be used in surgical management of degenerative spinal injuries. Method involves distraction of spinous processes of problem vertebrae and implant introduction. Implant is represented by implant presented in fig. 1. Before the implant is introduced, a bed is formed by symmetrical marginal resection of parts of spinous processes facing each other with preservation of interspinous and supraspinous ligaments of the shape and size corresponding to the implant. Implant in inclined position is implanted into formed bed with part (2) and is transformed into horizontal position.

EFFECT: method provides reducing intraoperative injuries, improving patient's safety, improving long-term results, preserving mobility of vertebral segments by using dynamic systems maximally preserving motor capacity of spine.
