OPTOELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING PARALLELISM OF OPTICAL AXES OF COMPONENTS OF AN OPTOELECTRONIC DEVICE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F41G3/06 G02B23/12 G01B11/27

Abstract RU 2703492 C1

FIELD: monitoring systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for monitoring of environment with possibility of detection and tracking of target in day and night time. Optoelectronic device comprises a video camera, a thermal imager, a laser range finder and a video processing unit. Laser range finder is rigidly installed on the base placed in the housing, and the video camera and the thermal imager are installed with possibility of rotation around their own axes and are fixed to the base by means of plate springs and adjustment spring-loaded screws. Method of adjusting optical axis parallelism involves placing a test pattern on which marks are placed, the arrangement of which corresponds to the interaxle distances of the optical axes of the components, performing movement of a video camera, a thermal imager, LED emitters by means of plate springs and adjustment spring-loaded screws, achieving the least deviation from parallelism of the optical axes, and locking the components with fasteners. Values of deviation from parallelism are stored in the memory of the video processing unit, which, taking into account these values, forms a video frame with an aiming cross hair and outputs it to the video output of the video processing unit.

EFFECT: accurate detection, tracking and illumination of the target, as well as minimization of mismatch of optical axes after final assembly.
