FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing and fire-and-explosion prevention equipment, namely to fire extinguishing and fire-and-explosion prevention devices with the help of foam of low and medium magnification or sprayed and dispersed water. To achieve technical result in a device for combined fire extinguishing and fire-and-explosion prevention, comprising a foam generator of medium and low magnification, comprising nozzles for supplying fire-extinguishing medium on meshes of foam formation of medium magnification and barrel formation foam of low multiplicity, and fire extinguishing agent supply pipeline, on the fire extinguishing agent supply pipeline there is a three-way valve with an additional foam formation barrel of low multiplicity connected to it with the possibility of switching the shut-off valve of the three-way valve to the corresponding working position of the fire-extinguishing agent supply and a foam generator of medium and low magnification and into an additional foam formation barrel of low multiplicity, or only into a foam generator of medium and low magnification, or only into an additional barrel of formation of foam of low multiplicity. When using water solution of foaming agent as fire extinguishing agent, device generates either medium- and low-rate combined foam with average ratio of 30–40, or low-rate foam with multiplicity of 5–10. When used as a fire-extinguishing water facility, the device generates either a combined sprayed and dispersed water with average dispersion of 150 mcm, or dispersed water with a dispersion greater than 200 mcm.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and safety of fire extinguishing and fire-and-explosion prevention.
