FIELD: fire extinguishing.
SUBSTANCE: method for fire and explosion prevention and extinguishing large-scale transport emergency and industrial emergency fires, and to a device for its implementation. In this case, the method is characterized by the fact that a jet of combined generated mechanical hybrid foam with an expansion ratio of 20-40 obtained as a result of turbulent shockless mixing in the process of joint co-movement of a jet of generated mechanical hybrid foam with an expansion ratio of 30-50 formed by turbulent mixing in the process of co-movement of coaxial, touching, or intersecting jets of generated mechanical foam of medium expansion with an expansion ratio of 25-70, generated mechanical foam of low expansion with an expansion rate of 5-15, and a jet of low-expansion generated mechanical foam with an expansion rate of 5-10 in contact with it from below.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of fire and explosion prevention and extinguishing of large-scale transport emergency and industrial emergency fires by increasing the range, uniformity, and softer distribution of water-air foam over the fire area, as well as increasing safety during fire and explosion prevention and extinguishing.
