FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for arrangement of working flow vortex to ensure effective heat exchange between different media, and can be used in various industries for intensification of heat exchange processes. Gas flow swirler comprises cylindrical housing (1) with a central channel having an inlet and an outlet. Central channel is stepped to create controlled swirling flow. At inlet section of housing by means of threaded connection is installed with possibility of axial movement in it hollow cylindrical insert (2), having inlet cylindrical channel (3) communicating with channel widened in housing, forming resonance chamber (4) with hollow cylindrical insert end, communicating with converging duct (5) made along housing axis. Hollow cylindrical insert (2) is installed in housing (1) with possibility of changing volume of resonance chamber (4) at movement of end face of insert (2) and with possibility of its fixation by means of lock nut (6) installed on protruding from housing threaded surface of insert (2). In end of outlet section of housing on threaded connection nozzle (7) with central outlet hole (8) is installed, having a configuration surface for providing functional adjustment of swirler. Stepped central channel in the swirler is configured to convert the constant flow pressure from cylindrical channel (3) of the insert to the variable pressure in resonance chamber (4), which is wider relative to cylindrical channel (3), as well as with possibility of further speed increase in converging duct (5) of housing and acquisition of appropriate shape of flow at outlet through hole (8) nozzle with configuration surface.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of gas flow swirler with simplification of its design, higher efficiency and functionality due to possibility of controlling swirling flow parameters and improved quality of spraying.
