FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and can be used for video-assisted appendectomy through displaced single laparoscopic approach. Karl Storz single laparoscopic access device is installed. Pneumoperitoneum 12 mm Hg is created. 10 mm video laparoscope and 5 mm bipolar tissue dissection instrument instrument Medagronic LigaSure is introduced at angle of 30 degrees. Electrocoagulation and an intersection of the mesoappendix are performed. Appendix is grasped at apex. Two ligatures are applied on the base of the appendix. Appendectomy is performed.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the risk of septic wound complications, preventing the hernia formation at the surgical site.
