FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and can be used for thermal insulation of permafrost soils in base of embankments of motor roads and sites of industrial facilities, walls and bottom of trenches of underground pipelines. Heat-insulating shield includes heat-insulated modules connected to each other. Modules contain polymer frames for arrangement of heat-insulating plates from foamed polymer material, as well as cables connecting polymer frames between each other.
EFFECT: creation of a heat-insulating screen, which protects from frost thawing frozen soils, which preserves its integrity and serviceability under conditions of high weight loads at non-uniform sedimentation of the leveling layer of soil on frozen soil of the base.
