FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport and can be used for repair of steel pipelines transporting liquid or gaseous media under pressure. Invention objective is creation of a coupling for repair of the pipeline, which excludes the specified shortcomings of the analogue and the prototype, which provides for reduction of labor intensity of assembling of couplings during repair of pipelines, as well as increased operational reliability of pipeline with repaired couplings of tube walls damages. Coupling for pipeline repair includes metal or non-metal band embracing the pipeline with embedded elements at the ends, and also by the tension unit. Proposed device comprises screw with right and left-direction thread aligned parallel to pipeline axis, nut with eye lugs arranged on screw, and levers in the form of rods with their ends pivotally connected to nuts and embedded elements on tape ends.

EFFECT: simplification of coupling mounting technology and provision of uniform reduction of pipeline surface by flexible tapes.
