SUBSTANCE: present description relates to water-soluble articles with a single dose. Described is a water-soluble article with a single dose, comprising at least one sealed compartment containing at least one composition for household use, wherein the water-soluble article with a single dose contains a first water-soluble film containing a first water-soluble resin; and a second water-soluble film comprising a second water-soluble resin; wherein first film is tightly attached to second film to form at least one sealed compartment; wherein the first water-soluble resin contains a mixture of at least one homopolymer of polyvinyl alcohol and at least one copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol containing 4 mol% of an anionic monomer link with respect to the total amount of the polyvinyl alcohol copolymer present, where the anionic monomer link is monomethyl maleate, wherein said mixture has viscosity of 4 % solution in demineralized water at 25 °C in the range of about 12 cP to about 30 cP, or from about 14 cP to about 25 cP; wherein the second water-soluble resin contains at least one polyvinyl alcohol homopolymer, or at least one polyvinyl alcohol copolymer, or mixture thereof, wherein at least one polyvinyl alcohol homopolymer, or at least one polyvinyl alcohol copolymer, or mixture thereof, has viscosity of 4 % solution in demineralised water at 25 °C in the range from about 10 cP to about 20 cP, or from about 10 cP to about 15 cP, or from about 12 cP to about 14 cP; and wherein viscosity of 4 % solution in demineralized water at 25 °C of at least one homopolymer of polyvinyl alcohol or at least one copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol or a mixture thereof of the first water-soluble resin is greater than that of 4 % solution in demineralized water at 25 °C of at least one polyvinyl alcohol homopolymer, or at least one copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol, or a mixture thereof of a second water-soluble resin, and the difference between viscosity of 4 % solution in demineralized water at 25 °C of at least one homopolymer of polyvinyl alcohol, or at least one copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol, or mixtures thereof of a first water-soluble resin and viscosity of 4% solution in demineralized water at 25 °C of at least one homopolymer of polyvinyl alcohol, or at least one copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol, or a mixture thereof of a second water-soluble resin ranges from about 2 cP to about 20 cP, or from about 3 cP to about 15 cP, or from about 4 cP to about 12 cP; wherein content of resin in film is 65 %, ratio for mixture is 30/70.

EFFECT: water-resistant articles with a single dose have optimum solubility in water, sealing strength and strength of the bag.
