FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-soluble films containing a polyvinyl-alcohol (PVOH) polymer and a combination of at least three plasticisers. Combination of plasticisers contains dipropylene glycol as the first plasticiser, a sugar alcohol, for example, such as sorbitol, as a second plasticiser, and a polyatomic alcohol, for example, such as glycerin, as a third plasticiser. If the PVOH polymer and plasticisers are mixed in certain proportions and/or selected based on various criteria associated with physical and chemical properties of the films, the obtained water-soluble film formed from said PVOH resin mixture demonstrates an advantageous combination of at least two properties: tensile strength after aging, increasing the delta of the first phase transition of melting after aging and the value of adhesion after aging.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of obtaining welded seams of film, which are strong and preserve water solubility characteristics, for example, including seams between one and another film, which are formed without using thermal sealing, for example by solvent welding or soldering, and/or without application of heating.
