SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle control systems. Disclosed is a method of adjusting the level of a sprung body of a vehicle relative to a suspension of wheels, in which the values of distance between the body and the suspension of the wheels are determined, and by controlling the spring system, it is controlled to an alternating preset level value. Depending on vehicle position and road map data, this type of road is determined, and the specified level value is set depending on detected type of road.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of vehicle operation.
