FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of automating data processing for selling goods in retail stores. Method includes user registration in mobile application, assignment to user of unique individual number, authorization of user at store entrance, electronic goods list formation by authorized user by bar code scanning of goods using mobile device video camera to mobile application, storing data on the goods list and the goods weight, repeated authorization of the user in the purchase payment area, wherein authorization involves weighing the user on the scales and reading the QR code including the user weight, storing data on the weight of a particular user on the server, re-authorization in the purchase payment area includes weighing the user together with goods on the scales and reading the QR code including the weight of the user with the goods, comparing the user's weight with the goods on the server and the user's weight sum with weight of goods from electronic list taking into account errors and, if the server has no violations in the given comparison, execution of payment for goods using a mobile telephone or terminal on a rack in the payment zone.
EFFECT: automation of shopping process in retail stores.
