SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Image processing method comprises the following steps: obtaining a target image comprising a plurality of elements, wherein the element corresponds to a pixel or a voxel; decomposing, based on the first decomposition, the target image into L layers, wherein each layer of L layers includes a low-frequency sub-image and a high-frequency sub-image, L≥1; decomposition, based on second decomposition, of target image on L'+N image layers, wherein each layer of L'+N layers includes a low-frequency sub-image and a high-frequency sub-image, L'≥1 and N≥1; converting a layer of L layers generated from the first decomposition, or L' layers generated from the second decomposition; updating, based on low-frequency sub-image L'-th layer generated from second decomposition, low-frequency sub-image of L-th layer, generated from first decomposition; and reconstructing composite image based on high-frequency sub-images of L layers generated by first decomposition, and updated low-frequency sub-image of L-th layer.
