FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in oil industry for treatment of formation water used for flooding of oil reservoir. Method includes a step for obtaining formation water containing an oil-water mixture extracted from an oil-bearing formation, wherein formation water contains polymer compounds which increase viscosity. Then, the brine water is directed into the filtration device to produce a stream of retentate and permeate. Filtering device contains a microfiltration unit with a ceramic membrane having a selective cutoff threshold with a particle transmission range of 2 mcm to 8 mcm. Obtained permeate contains a polymer compound which increases viscosity and does not contain solid suspensions, free oil and emulsified oil.
EFFECT: method increases oil recovery of the formation using reconstituted formation water treated in a filtering device with a ceramic membrane, and also enables to recycle part of the polymer for new pumping.
