SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a powdered water-soluble cationogenic polymer composition used for promoting flocculation during separation of solid and liquid phases. Composition contains at least two different cationogenic polymers, namely the first cationogenic polymer and the second cationogenic polymer, which differ in chemical nature and molecular weight. Described also is a method of producing such a powdered water-soluble cationogenic polymer composition and use thereof for promoting flocculation during separation of solid and liquid phases, for example, as a retention agent when making paper and during sludge dehydration/purification of waste water.
EFFECT: technical result is providing composition containing 5 ml/l or less of insoluble solid substances after its dispersion in water, which is necessary for effective promotion of flocculation during separation of solid and liquid phases.
