SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock sector and veterinary science. Fodder additive is characterized by that it represents a complex compound of a metal-microelement salt and an alpha-amino acid, wherein the complex compound is obtained immediately before use by combined dissolution in water of a metal-microelement salt and an alpha-amino acid, which are before use in different containers.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables treating and preventing deficiencies of microelements in animals.
