FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and can be used for oriented planting of queen mother queen cells for seeds production. Device comprises a receiver, rolls, consisting of two parts, one of which, cylindrical, has helical winding of elastic material with variable pitch (pi) on cylindrical part of rollers, which is determined by arithmetic progression pi=p1 (i-1)·d, where i is ordinal of arithmetic progression; p1 – first arithmetic progression (pitch of screw coiling) by 10...20 % more than average length (Ɩ) of root crop, d – step of difference of progression equal to 1/5 of diameter of cylindrical part of roll. Helical winding on the cylindrical part of the rollers is made of elastic material with flexural stiffness providing for movement of the root crops along the rollers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase reliability of single-piece feeding of cone-shape root crops irrespective of their geometrical parameters for their oriented planting.
