FIELD: pulp industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulp and paper industry and concerns a drying device for drying household paper, as well as newsprint drying, on paper machines by means of energy of infrared rays of certain length by a contactless method at speed of 2,000 m/min and higher. On the proposed drying device by means of infrared rays it is possible to transfer to the dried paper a greater amount of heat per unit of time and to achieve rates of evaporation of moisture and evaporation vapors many times exceeding rates of evaporation at traditional contact drying, which will allow to carry out drying of any types of paper with weight from 10 to 500 g/m2, as well as all types of cellulose fibers with weight of up to 700 g/m2.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for drying household purpose paper with weight from 10 to 40 g/m2, as well as newsprint weight 51 g/m2, on a paper making machine at speed of 2,000 m/min and higher by a contactless method using energy of infrared rays.
