FIELD: paper industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of high-tensile paper. A method for manufacturing uncoated paper having grammage of 50-250 g/m2, Gurley air permeability of more than 15 s and machine stretchability of at least 9% includes providing cellulose mass and refining it at a high consistency of 25-42% to the extent, at which cellulose mass acquires a Shopper-Rigler value of 13-19. Then, resulting cellulose mass is refined at a low consistency of 2-6% to the extent, at which cellulose mass acquires a Shopper-Rigler value of 18-40. Resulting cellulose mass is diluted and unloaded onto a molding grid to obtain a paper web having a dry substance content of 15-25%. The paper web is pressed to a dry substance content of 30-50% and dried. The dried paper web is compacted in a Klupak device at a moisture content of 20-50%. The paper web is dried and calendered at a moisture content of 4-20%.
EFFECT: increase in the extensibility and decrease in the porosity of the paper web are provided.
