FIELD: beverage preparation devices.

SUBSTANCE: capsule contains a substance for preparation of a beverage suitable for drinking. Capsule contains an aluminium capsule body, having a side wall and an outwardly projecting flange and a sealing element on the outwardly projecting flange for providing contact with a female element of the beverage preparation device, which is sealing against the fluid medium. Beverage preparation device comprises annular element with free contact end, which can be made with multiple open grooves passing in radial direction. Sealing element is integral with outward protruding flange and comprises at least one protrusion protruding from outwardly projecting flange. Projection comprises an upper part of the projection and is made with such configuration that the upper part of the projection provides application of radial force to the free contact end of the circular element, if the capsule is installed in the specified position in the female element of the beverage preparation device and the female element is closed by the beverage preparation device closing element.

EFFECT: invention discloses a capsule, a system for preparing a drink suitable for drinking from a similar capsule and use of such capsule in a beverage preparation device.
