FIELD: beverage preparation devices.
SUBSTANCE: capsule containing a substance for beverage preparation has an aluminium capsule body and a sheet cover tightly closing the capsule. Capsule body has a flange with a deformable sealing ring part with an inner wall portion extending from the inner base portion and adjacent to the flange inner base portion, an outer wall portion extending from the outer base portion and adjacent to the flange outer base portion, and connecting part connecting to each other inner wall part and outer wall part. Connecting part is located at a distance in axial direction from base parts of flange. In the radial section, the upper part of the connecting part, which is most distant in the axial direction from the base parts of the flange, is flat or has a central plane bent with a radius of curvature exceeding the wall thickness of the upper part of the connecting part by more than two times.
EFFECT: technical result is expansion of functional capabilities.
