FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely, to forward hydrofoil device for hydrofoils. Device comprises starting foil (1) of V-shape, located under starting foil running foil (2) of V-shape, comprising side parts (6) and central part (5), having greater angle of deadrise relative to lateral parts, and fastening posts (3, 4) for connection of starting foil (1) and running foil (2) to ship hull (8). Starting foil (1) and running foil (2) have segment profile in cross section with displacement of maximum thickness towards front edge of foil. Fasteners (3, 4) include one central post (3) and two side posts (4), each of which connects starting foil (1) and running foil (2) to form a single frame, which also comprises two additional posts (7) connecting running foil (2) at transition points of central part (5) and side parts (6) with starting foil (1). Side parts (6) of running foil (2) have alternating chord increasing in direction to periphery of running foil (2).
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of hydrodynamic resistance of forward foil device with simultaneous increase of ship stability in transverse direction, as well as increase of rigidity and strength of forward foil device.
