FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and concerns the designs of catamarans and double-hull ships with a small waterline area. The catamaran contains two hulls, a connecting bridge with a wedge-shaped attachment in the bow on its lower deck and a wing installed under the connecting bridge between the hulls forward of the sixth theoretical frame, above the structural waterline by at least a quarter of the vertical clearance of the catamaran, ensuring the angle of attack when the catamaran is moving on calm water from 5 to 15°. The wing is made in the form of two longitudinal wing elements with an elongation of not more than 0.5, attached to the inner side of the corresponding body and interconnected by at least one transverse wing element having an elongation of at least 3. The overall dimensions of the longitudinal wing elements in the transverse direction are in the range from 15% to 25% of the horizontal clearance of the catamaran, the bow edges of the longitudinal wing elements are located at an acute angle to the surfaces of the hull sides, and the smallest distance from the edges of the longitudinal wing elements to the surface of the connecting bridge or wedge-shaped attachment does not exceed one and a half times the overall size of the longitudinal wing elements in the transverse direction. The transverse wing elements are spaced from the nearest points of the connecting bridge or wedge-shaped attachment by no more than the average chord value. In the case of using two transverse wing elements in the wing, the distance between the trailing edge of the bow transverse wing element and the leading edge of the aft transverse wing element is at least half of the mean value of the chord of the wider of them, and the projections of the rectilinear edges of the sections of the longitudinal wing elements located between the transverse wing elements on the main plane of the vessel make an angle from 15 to 30° with the diametral plane.
EFFECT: invention provides a decrease in the amplitudes of pitching, vertical and side rolling, a decrease in shock loads on structures and an increase in driving performance in rough conditions, as well as an increase in comfort.
