FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for heating of smokeable material. Method of controlling a heater in a device for heating smoking material for evaporation of at least one component of said smoking material, includes implementation of a control loop capable of adjusting the operation of the heating element of the heater for heating the corresponding region of the device to a predetermined temperature, wherein control loop during one or more consecutive control periods performs steps of determining current temperature in corresponding zone; determining current speed of temperature change in corresponding zone; determining the remaining time of operation of the heating element of the heater for heating the corresponding zone of the device to a given temperature based on the current rate of change of temperature, a given temperature and current temperature in said zone.
EFFECT: inventions is perfection of devices providing smoking material heating.
