SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigational instrument making and can be used in systems for optimization of the transport route. To achieve the technical result, the method further includes a step of detecting, in the navigation system, pressing a button on the human-machine interface device, regardless of the navigation system, specifically based on the signal received from the human-machine interface device. Besides, a step is additionally used, at which one or more preferences with respect to refueling for the vehicle are analyzed. At that, it includes the stage, at which in response to the button pressing, the vehicle is redirected to the filling point, which corresponds to one or more preferences with respect to fueling for the vehicle, without additional input of information from the user. As a result, expansion of functional capabilities in the process of searching for the route of the direction of the vehicle to the point of filling thereof is provided based on analysis of the navigation environment.
