FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical means intended for active action on clouds in order to stimulate precipitation, and can be used also for protection of crops against hail-damages. Pyrotechnical cartridge for sediment stimulation contains a case, in which there installed is a primer-igniter, a blow-out charge and a pyro element in the form of a jet projectile with a solid fuel engine with an ice-forming composition, which is inflammable during firing, and a body with a nozzle and a critical cross-section. Jet projectile nozzle is made telescopic, consisting of two parts, movable and fixed. Fixed part is connected to housing of pyro-element, and movable is made with possibility of axial movement and fixation on fixed part. Cap primer and blow-off charge are arranged in close proximity to each other in fixed part of jet projectile nozzle.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the pyrotechnic cartridge by increasing the range of flight of the pyro-element and increasing the angle of opening the jet of effluent combustion products.
