FIELD: pyrotechnics.
SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic cartridge refers to a unitary cartridge designed to disperse gaseous products, and more specifically, to pyrotechnic devices that generate an aerosol to actively influence clouds and can be used in a weather service system to cause precipitation and prevent hail. A pyrotechnic cartridge for influencing clouds comprises a sleeve, an electrocapsule sleeve, an expelling charge, a wad or obturator with perforation and a pyroelement rolled by the side of the sleeve, comprising successively arranged layers of the main transition compositions and the igniter composition with a central conical recess. The pyroelement includes a layer of inert composition pressed to the layer of igniter composition with a central hole, the diameter of which is equal to the diameter of the base of the conical recess in the layer of igniter composition. The mass of the inert composition layer is in the range from 1.5 to 2.5 g at the ratio of the components of the composition in wt. %: solid phenol-formaldehyde resin, brand SF-0112 - 4.0-6.0; enriched natural chalk 38.0-42.0; aluminium powder brand PA-1 or PA-2 - 52.0-58.0; rectified ethyl alcohol from food raw materials - 4.0-6.0 over 100%; lubricating graphite grade P - 0.5-1.5 over 100%.
EFFECT: simplified design of the pyrotechnic cartridge, increased manufacturability of its manufacture and reduced cost while ensuring the safety of manufacture.
