FIELD: pyrotechnic facilities in particular ammunition for delivery and introduction in clouds o agents producing an active action on the cloud microstructure with the aim of inducement of rainfall.
SUBSTANCE: a substance in the form of aerosol is introduced in the cloud, it is produced as a result of burning of a pyrotechnic compound containing an ice-making substance. The generator has a sleeve with an ignition system and a pyroelement with an ice-making compound. A diaphragming bush with a hole is installed on the sleeve, the hole provides for relation of the pyroelement burning surface area and the hole area within 10 to 50. The pyroelement is installed in the sleeve with a gap, and the ignition system consists of a contact bush connected by wires to an electric igniter. The contact bush and the electric igniter are positioned on the opposite ends of the pyroelement, and the wires are located in the gap between the sleeve and the pyroelement. A disk with holes made of combustible material is installed between the electric igniter and the diaphragming bush. The offered generator provides for a time of production of a tail of active smoke of about 90 seconds (at a speed of the aeroplane flight of about 300 km/h, the tail length is about 7 km.
EFFECT: uniform delivery of active aerosol to the cloud.
