FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an electrophotographic image forming device using a developing device. Disclosed group of inventions comprises a developing device and an image forming device. At that, the developing device contains: a frame made with a developing roller supporting with possibility of rotation, first end part element provided at one end of the frame in the developing roller axial direction so as to be rotatable about the frame about a rotational axis parallel to the axial direction, and a second end part element provided on the other end of the frame in the axial direction so as to be rotatable about the frame about the axis of rotation, wherein developing device is installed with possibility of removal into main body of image forming device in axial direction, wherein at least one end part element from first end part element and second end part element has a force-sensitive portion and a control portion, wherein the force-receiving portion is provided on one side of said one element of the end part in a first direction orthogonal to the axis of rotation, and receives deflecting force from deflecting element of main body of device in installation direction, when developing device is installed in main body of device, and wherein the adjustment portion is provided on the other side of said one end part element in a first direction and brought into contact with the device main body, in order to control the movement of the other side of said one element of the end part relative to the main body of the device in the direction opposite to the direction of installation, with the rotation center being the axis of rotation.

EFFECT: reduced size of developing device.
