SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a colour electrophotographic image-forming device, wherein a plurality of cartridges is detachably installed in the main housing of the image-forming device on a data medium. The colour image-forming device, in which a plurality of cartridges is installed, includes: positioning sections of the main housing which are made in the main housing of the device; a cartridge support element for detachable support of cartridges, having electric contacts for cartridges and positioned sections of cartridges, and moving between a first image-forming position, a second position away from the first position, and a third position for extracting cartridges from the main housing; a clamping element which clamps the positioned sections on the positioning sections; and electric contacts of the main housing, which are made in the main housing, wherein the electric contacts are directly electrically connected to electric contacts when the positioned sections are pressed to the positioning sections by the clamping element.
EFFECT: solving the task of making a colour electrophotographic image-forming device which is configured for electrical connection of cartridges and the main housing without creating intermediate electric contacts on the cartridge support element, as well as avoiding increase in the number of components, wherein when connecting electric contacts of the main housing with electric contacts of the cartridge, there is less friction between both said contacts, thereby providing smoothness and reliability when connecting said electric contacts.
