FIELD: physics; communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering. The method of transmitting information through adaptive noiseless coding involves coding with a noise-immune code at the transmitting side. Further, the noise-immune code is transmitted over a communication channel. At the receiving side, the noise-immune code is decoded with detection and correction of errors depending on correcting capacity of the selected code. From the results of decoding the noise-immune code, quality of the communication channel is evaluated and variable parametres of the noise-immune code are selected, which provide a given probability of correct reception of the noise-immune code, and further, these parametres are sent to the transmitting side. From results of decoding the noise-immune code at the receiving side, the initial redundancy value of the noise-immune code, which provides the given probability of correct reception of the noise-immune code, is calculated. Probability of correct reception of the noise-immune code with selected parametres is evaluated. The deviation value of the obtained probability of correct reception of the noise immune code from the given probability of correct reception of the code is calculated and depending on the value of this deviation, the redundancy value of the noise-immune code is corrected, which is transmitted to the transmitting side, where noise-immune code with the obtained redundancy is formed.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity of information.
